Hi Sarah’s WoodStoves,
I came across your site and wanted to tell you that coal burning is a
good option for some of these stoves. We had this old Wincroft for
two years (it came with the house) and we burnt wood with it. We (I)
wasn’t really happy with it because we were always adding wood. One
day a friend of mine suggested burning coal and I fell in love with
my stove. Burning coal is so much more efficient than wood, gives off
a steady flow of BTUs and if stoked right will burn for 10 hours. To
think I tried selling this on CraigsList for cheap. You should
mention coal burning on your website. I’m in love, love, love with my
coal stove.
